ABOUT Whitney
Hello! My name is Whitney Rupp. I am a product design and development consultant with a passion for creating beautiful, functional things that people will use and love. My path started at young age, sewing, baking and creating things with my grandmothers and mother. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Development and Marketing and have worked for 15+ years in the action sports, outdoor sports, consumer electronics and fashion apparel product markets.
Across these market segments I've held positions in quality engineering, product design engineering, category management and category merchandising. These roles have given me breadth in addition to depth of experience regarding product design and development.
My particular specialties center around textile and leather products and their respective design, development, sourcing, quality, color processes and product management. With these skills I can take a product from concept to full-scale production and into the end consumers hands.
